今晚在某家尼泊爾餐廳的掛飾中發現了以下的一段話語，讀起來很有意思，我也試著以自己的感受來為它套上中文的意譯

我們當世的迷思

We have bigger house and smaller families;
我們擁有比以前更廣闊的家居，可是家族成員卻變少了

more convenience, but less time.
擁有更多的方便，可是時間卻不曾變得充裕

We have degrees, but less sense;
我們能夠擁有更高學歷資格，可是悟性和智慧卻變低了

more knowledge, but less judgement;
擁有更多知識資訊，可是判斷能力卻變弱了

more experts, but more problems;
擁有更多不同範疇的專家專才，可是問題和困難卻不減反增

more medicines, but less healthiness.
擁有更多藥物和醫術，可是健康問題卻日漸增加

We have been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbour.
我們能夠上天下海往返月球，可是走到對面跟新鄰居打個招呼也變得艱澀

We built more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication.
我們發明了更多電腦產品來儲存和發佈無限增長的資料訊息，可是卻阻礙了溝通
